User Eligibility

PiloSMS is available to users worldwide who wish to send messages to Ghanaian numbers.

Account Information

  • Account Creation: To create an account, users must provide their name, a valid email address, and a phone number.
  • Termination: Accounts flagged for sending fraudulent messages will be suspended indefinitely.

Services Provided

  • Service Description: PiloSMS offers bulk messaging, contact management, AI template generation, and message personalization services.

User Obligations and Responsibilities

  • Acceptable Use: Users must not engage in spamming or sending fraudulent content. PiloSMS runs on an AI system that scans messages for spam and fraud. Messages that do not pass such checks are flagged for manual review.
  • Compliance with Laws: Users are obligated to comply with local, national, and international laws.
  • Prohibited Activities: Users are prohibited from sending fraudulent messages or violating privacy.

Payment Terms

  • Pricing: The cost of sending messages is GHS0.03 per SMS unit, subject to review. Users will be notified in advance of any price changes.
  • Payment Methods: Users can purchase SMS credits using Paystack (Debit Card or Mobile Money).
  • Refund Policy: Once a transaction is completed, it is not refundable.

Service Availability and Changes

  • Service Availability: PiloSMS aims for high uptime but may experience occasional downtime for maintenance or other reasons.
  • Modifications: We reserve the right to modify our services. Users will be notified of any significant changes via email and SMS.

Intellectual Property

User Content: Users retain full ownership of data (contact numbers and templates) they input into our system. Users can export, edit, or delete their data at their discretion.

Liability and Disclaimers

  • Limitation of Liability: Users agree to be liable for all messages sent through our platform.
  • Disclaimers: Messages sent via PiloSMS pass through several channels before reaching the recipient. Sender names are checked against fraudulent activities at each channel, including the final telecommunications networks. While we guarantee a 95% delivery rate, we advise users to use approved sender names.

Sender Names

  • Registration: Users must register a sender name before sending messages.
  • Approval: Sender names are subject to manual approval.
  • Slots: Users are entitled to three free sender name slots; additional slots must be purchased.
  • Transaction Requirement: Users must complete at least one transaction to register a sender name.
  • Restrictions: Sender names must not be generic.
  • Proof of registration: In some cases, users will be required to submit a proof business such as a certificate of incorporation before a sender name would be approved. This entirely depends on what sender name is being registered and its purpose. Users that need to provide such information will be alerted sender name review. Providing false information can lead to indefinite suspension of your PilosSMS account.

Sending Messages

  • Fraudulent Messages: Accounts sending fraudulent messages will be suspended indefinitely.
  • Review Requests: Users who believe their accounts were falsely flagged or suspended can request a review. If the suspension is found to be erroneous, users will be compensated with SMS credits.
